Electrical equipment

PC screen consumption can often represent at least a third of the electricity consumption in a modern office. Most of the wasted energy is given off as heat which your air conditioning unit will have to get rid of in the summer…using more energy!
- Use a seven-day timer on equipment such as printers, vending machines and water coolers and save up to 70% on energy costs
- Turn off all equipment and lights after hours – simple and makes huge savings
Lighting
- Make use of natural daylight, this could reduce lighting costs by up to 19%
