Graduate analyst programme
Help to set prices and future strategy while you navigate the energy supply market as a Graduate analyst in this exciting programme.
Here are the key facts about our analyst scheme. If you have any questions, please get in touch with our team at email@example.com
What does the programme involve?
Our analysts carry out a wide range of tasks, including keeping track of all the complex costs of energy supply, helping to set prices and future strategy, and forecasting energy supply. You’ll get the opportunity to work with a wide variety of teams across Opus Energy, including operations, renewable energy and sales.
You will also be assigned a mentor who joined the company as a graduate analyst themselves, so you’ll get all the support and advice you need. In addition, you will receive regular training courses to equip you with new tools and skills.
Where is it based?
This programme is primarily based in our Oxford office, with placements in our Northampton office.
How long does it last?
Our Graduate analyst programme lasts two years and consists of a series of three to six-month long rotations within various areas of the business. You will primarily be based within our risk management team, but you will also spend time within other departments such as renewables, operations and commercial.
What happens at the end of the programme?
Equipped with key skills you’ll have gained over the course of the programme, you will be able to see where your strengths lie and how they fit in with our business. We’ll identify an appropriate specialism with you, and as you develop, we’d expect you to move into a senior analyst, team leader or management role.
What are the entry requirements?
You’ll need a 2:1 degree and a Mathematics A level grade A, or similar.
What do you get?
You’ll start on a salary of £25,000, plus a relocation payment of £1000. You will get a guaranteed salary increase of £1000 at the end of years 1 and 2.
