Opus Energy launches My Smart Energy app putting customers in control of their energy

Access to your energy data whenever, wherever

Our new app, My Smart Energy, helps customers to stay in control of their energy and make life easier – even outside of business hours. All Opus Energy customers with a SMETS2 smart meter installed can now download the My Smart Energy app for free.

Will you use the same amount of energy this year compared to last year? How much energy do your appliances use when there’s no one else on site? Now you can make informed choices to become more efficient.

Our app gives you cost and usage information for up to ten energy meters, meaning you can:

The My Smart Energy App is available on Apple devices using iOS 10.0 or later, and Android devices on operating system 5.0 or above.

What next?

As soon as you’ve downloaded the app, you’ll need to register your details, accept the terms and conditions and set up your account. We’ll ask you to enter your Meter Point Administration Number/MPAN and upload a picture of your most recent energy invoice and your photo ID to verify the information you've registered.

Once your details have been verified, you’ll receive a confirmation email within two working days. Then you’ll be ready to view your usage data and see how much you’re spending.

My Smart Energy is hosted and maintained by third-party company, Hildebrand Technology Limited. Your details will be processed by them. We’ve carefully selected Hildebrand as our partner to deliver this solution. You can read their privacy policy here.
