When you’re running a successful company, you don’t always have the time to as analyse your energy use. However, if you have a smart meter you can take advantage of Opus Energy’s free smart energy monitoring app.

Access to your data whenever, wherever

‘My Smart Energy’ helps you to stay in control of your energy, making your life easier – even outside of business hours. If you have a SMETS2 smart meter installed, you can download the My Smart Energy app for free to gain more control over your energy usage. If you haven’t got a smart meter, get in touch with our smart experts who can arrange a free installation.

Will you use the same amount of energy this year compared to last year? How much energy do your appliances use when there’s no one physically on site? The app helps you to make these informed decisions to streamline your energy usage.

The app gives you cost and usage information for up to ten energy meters, meaning you can:

Available for both Apple and Android devices, you can download the app from the Apple or Google Play store to your chosen device.

I’ve got the app, now what?

As soon as you’ve downloaded the app, you’ll need to register your details, accept the terms and conditions and set up your account. We’ll ask you to enter your Meter Point Administration Number/MPAN and upload a picture of your most recent energy invoice and your photo ID to verify the information you've registered.

Once your details have been verified, you’ll receive a confirmation email within two working days. Then you’ll be ready to view your usage data and see how much you’re spending.

My Smart Energy is hosted and maintained by third-party company, Hildebrand Technology Limited. Your details will be processed by them. We’ve carefully selected Hildebrand as our partner to deliver this solution. For more information, please read their privacy policy.
