Complete a VAT declaration form

If you use 33 units of electricity or more a day, we'll class you as a business rather than a domestic account. We'll then automatically generate your invoice at 20% VAT. If you use your property partly or wholly for domestic or charitable non business use you may qualify for reduced VAT.

To inform us of your eligibility for reduced VAT, complete our VAT declaration form and email it to contactus@opusenergy.com. Remember to include your account number, and the date these changes apply from.

Once we receive the form we'll review and update your account. If you qualify for reduced VAT, we'll send you a replacement invoice.
